My Thanks To You

Thank you for your interest in my site. Ours is an ever-changing world. My goal is to give you, the reader, some insight into what I see every day and where I think we can improve. Thank you for reading. As always, please feel free to contact me with questions or post respectful comments here on my blog. I attempt to be informative but not argumentative or controversial. I hope you feel the same.

My Background

I was raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. After high school graduation, my family moved to Chicago, Illinois, where we lived in a North suburb. I attended Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate, where I received the excellent liberal arts/premedical education that makes that university so revered. During the years of 1992-1996, the same exciting years during which Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships, I obtained my medical degree from Rush Medical College, one of the best medical schools in the country. After a Medical Internship year at the world famous Cleveland Clinic, I completed a four-year Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My final year of training was spent in an Interventional Radiology Fellowship in Baltimore, MD, at the University of Maryland Medical System. The hospital is better known as "Shock-Trauma," and afforded me the opportunity to become skilled in life-saving measures such as arterial embolizations for traumatic injuries.

After training, in 2002, my wife, Amanda, and I moved to Milwaukee, WI, where I joined a private practice radiology group. There I began an aortic stent graft program and was director of interventional radiology at one of the two hospitals we staffed. In January 2006, we moved to Naples, Florida, and joined Naples Radiologists, a group that prided itself on delivering high quality radiology interpretations, compassionate patient care, honest business practices, and sub-specialization.

In January 2016 my family and I relocated to Cincinnati to join Columbus Radiology Corporation, which subsequently joined Radiology Partners, a nationally recognized radiology practice comprised of hundreds of radiologists, spanning numerous states. I was recruited to Cincinnati as the Director of Interventional Radiology, a position I held during 2016 and 2017. In Columbus and Cincinnati, we strive to consistently achieve the highest quality radiology and deliver the best patient care. I am privileged to be part of a progressive, diverse group of highly specialized radiologists.

The meaning in my professional life is being honest and providing compassionate care. The meaning in my personal life is making the right choices to give my family a consistent and unwavering role model.
